Join Wanda B. Knight, NAEA President, for a special address for visual arts, design, and media arts educators, on behalf of the association, followed by Ruth E. Carter, two-time Academy Award–winning American film costume designer.  Best known for turning the Black Panther superhero into an African King, Carter made history as the first Black person to win the Costume Design category and earned Marvel Studios its first Oscar recognition.
